House Party Released to $10+ Supporters.  Public Release Coming Soon.

Hey guys,

House Party has been released to $10.00+ supporters, and is slated to be released publicly on 1/17/16.  To grab this latest version of the game or to become a supporter, visit my Patreon page.

I spent most of the time since I put out my last post just cleaning up some bugs and testing to make sure all of the stories were in tact, so as far as new content goes for this version, look to my last post.  I added a few things here and there, but nothing worth mentioning that wasn’t already discussed a few days ago.

Overall though, this feels like a very stable version, and that’s the goal on the 15th of each month.  Enjoy!


  1. Hi Bobby, I don’t know what’s the deal? I’ve been having graphical glitches with purple. I don’t know how to describe it, but it’s really irritating! The whole new lighting setup really messed up on how the everything displayed in the game and I’m 100% positive that it’s not my graphics card; I played other games. The whole lighting you had before was just fine for me with fantastic settings. So please take a look at it! Some graphics might render differently than yours.

      I’m thinking if it has to do something with some rendering codecs? Nvidia Geforce 325M Cuda (1GRam) was just fine for me before before you changed the lighting system.

      Hmm. I’m not sure what’s causing that, but the light in question that’s bugging out is the “moonlight”, which I’ve actually pulled out of the next build because the house just looks better with no other illumination other than the indoor lights, so I think it will go away with future builds.

      It could be a codec thing, but I’d like to see how the future builds treat you ( and up) before I put it on my list of things to look into. If it’s gone in that build, then I’m not going to worry about it too much. I’m pretty certain it will be since I removed that light source.

    Did some research and it could be some shader codecs that it’s not liking from some textures? I do know I can take moon glares quite well, but some codec it’s not just not liking or understanding. As you said you removed the lighting source because it looks better. I’ll see how it goes in the future. Some graphics cards work differently is all I know.
